Pat Black-Gould

Pat Black-Gould, PhD, is an award-winning author, speaker, and clinical psychologist whose work bridges storytelling and the human psyche. Previously, Pat worked as a director, producer, and playwright in New York and New England.

Pat states: "I’ve also been interested in the forces that shape human resilience and transformation, whether on stage, in therapy sessions, or on the page. That same curiosity informs my writing, including All the Broken Angels, a historical novel co-written with Steve Hardiman, set during the Vietnam War era and exploring lives shaped by the 1960s and early 1970s, and The Crystal Beads and Lalka’s Journey, the story of a hidden child of the Holocaust. I write historical fiction and children’s literature because I believe stories help preserve history, and in doing so, help preserve who we are."
