Heleny Campoy

Heleny S. Campoy is a Spanish-Brazilian writer, business adviser and entrepreneur based near Aalborg, Denmark.

Originally trained as an engineer, Heleny spent several years working in technical and business environments before turning more seriously to writing. In 2009, she published her first novel, "Asif", beginning a literary journey shaped by different countries, cultures and ways of understanding the world.

After the publication of "Asif", Heleny moved to London, where she lived for ten years. Her experience there broadened both her professional perspective and her writing, adding new layers to the questions that continue to interest her: how people adapt to change, how societies respond to uncertainty, and how technology, power and human choices shape our future.

Today, Heleny combines writing with her work as a consultant at Skale Egenkapital, an executive advisory company specialising in commercial strategy, business development, operations and leadership workshops. She works with founders, executives and organisations that need to turn ideas and ambitions into structured, commercially resilient businesses.

Her current work also extends into innovation and climate adaptation. She is developing Kyraeon, a bio-digital infrastructure concept that combines living ecosystems, sensors, artificial intelligence and urban technology to support healthier, cooler and more resilient cities.

As an author, Heleny writes across fiction, business and travel. Her science-fiction work explores artificial intelligence, ethics, identity, climate change and the concentration of power, while remaining centred on the human consequences of technological progress. For her, writing is more than a profession. It is a way of examining the world, questioning accepted ideas and giving form to experiences that might otherwise remain unspoken.
