Leo Hayes

Leo Hayes, Pastor Leo as his sheep call him, has been a pastor, teacher, church planter, and evangelist, for fifty years. He has ministered to families, adults, teens, and children, making his writing easy to understand for all ages, including those with limited knowledge of the bible. His humorous style will keep the attention of even the hardest nut. Now retired from full-time ministry (pastors never retire; at seventy, he has just slowed down), Pastor Leo is concentrating on his writing; especially publishing this study so all may benefit.

Besides sermons and bible studies, he has created children’s Christmas plays, and is working on a series of middle-grade fantasy novels. These are action-packed coming-of-age stories of two young wolves and their friends who, through faith and trust in their creator, change the world they live in. These tales and others are told from a Christian perspective. More of Leo’s writing can be found on his website, leohayesthewriter.com.

A widower, Pastor Leo lives with his pal, PJ the dachshund. They live along the river in Puyallup, Washington, a little town twenty miles south of Seattle. In his spare time, Leo sings in Gospel quartets, plays Tenor Sax, and PJ sings along.
