Patrick Seslar

Patrick Seslar has been a professional artist for over thirty years. He has created artworks in a variety of mediums ranging from pencil sketches to highly finished oil paintings. Patrick and his wife, Lin, enjoy traveling in their motorhome across the US in search of new subjects. In addition to numerous art instruction books, Patrick has written articles for The Artist's Magazine, Trailer Life, Motorhome magazine, and American West magazine.

When not painting or writing, Patrick and his wife, Lin, have found the time to go hang gliding, and hike across the Grand Canyon and to the summit of Mount Whitney (14,495 feet). They've backpacked extensively in Sequoia and King's Canyon National Parks and have had several exciting bear encounters on those multi-day adventures. The couple regularly mountain bikes and have favorite trails all across the US -- especially those that go downhill over rocks and roots.
