E. A. Smyth is a poet from Craftsbury, Vermont. She has earned her bachelor’s degree in English from The King’s College, NYC, and plans to continue her education by getting her counseling degree. She resides in a cozy apartment in Brooklyn, NY with her two cats and three roommates. Her work centers around the intersection between memory, youth, and aging. On A Day Far from Death is Smyth’s first published collection of poetry, and she hopes that her work will encourage its readers to cherish the everyday meaning that life has to offer.
