Jean Ralph LERICHE

Jean Ralph LERICHE was born in Haiti and immigrated to the United States of America. He was born into a family of more than five children. Summer evenings were spent listening to local legends told by his parents. During his primary school years, he developed a passion for comic books. Marvel's heroes inspired him to write and draw his own heroes. He continued his academic training at the Institution Saint-Louis de Gonzague, where he came up with the idea of writing a book that would cover all the myths he had learned from the books and tales of his native land. His work continued uninterrupted throughout his medical training. For over twenty years, he worked on constructing Odoyara, the fictional world that sets the story of the Algovis.
