Maarten Janssens

Maarten Janssens, born September 27th in 1972 wanted to become a comic-artist from a very young age, but after he got announced 'Biggest Comic Talent of the Netherlands' at age 15, he decided to hone his craft under the radar by enlisting at Disney Publishing where he worked for 12 years. Maarten then shifted gears to design for TV-animation with 'Kika and Bob Incredible adventures' and 'Woezel and Pip' for another decade to again change his focus towards designing concepts for on-line games. In-between, Maarten searched very hard to find a new hobby that would be obscure enough to guarantee him undemanding and free fun while shaping his digital and social media skills, but his chosen playground 3EyedBear (since 2007) once again came to the surface as his new, main day-job. Now Maarten is currently spending his spare time being a father to his two young sons and looking out for his new frontier to cross. Maarten lives and works in 's-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands.
