Monique Johnson

Monique Johnson, Ed.D. is an experienced versatile leader with years of experience in career development, diversity and inclusion, and leadership. She is the owner of Dr. MCJ Consulting, LLC, a coaching and consulting practice that provides individual and group career coaching, large-scale presentations, guest speaking, training, and consulting services.

Dr. Johnson is passionate about creating safe spaces that empower individuals in their careers as well as impact positive change within organizations. She has coached and consulted with leaders in school districts, nonprofits, higher education, and various corporations. She is especially committed to encouraging organizations to diversify their workplace cultures through inclusive planning, training, strategic planning, recruitment and retention, and program development.

Her previous roles include Assistant Professor, Assistant Dean, Assistant Director of Career Services, and Program Director. In 2021, Dr. Johnson was selected to serve as the Certified Master of Career Services (CMCS) Commissioner for the National Career Development Association’s (NCDA) Credentialing Commission. She is also a National Certified Counselor (NCC).
