Born and raised on a beautiful farm overlooking the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons on the border of Wales and England, I grew up fascinated by animals, sharks most of all. I was lucky enough to be surrounded by farm animals - including magnificent peacocks and a stunning view, which was the inspiration for the realm of Theos in Splendania.

As a boy, I used to write short stories and poems, somewhat inspired by Alice in Wonderland, winning myself the Duke of Edinburgh Award for Poetry at age 6 (still very proud of that 🤦‍♂️)

With a busy job in marketing, time to focus and completing the books has become a labour of love, especially as I've done the covers, formatting, weapon illustrations and artwork, but it's something I'm passionate about and eager to hear what people think of the books.

The first book came into existence after my girlfriend asked me to tell her a bedtime story...though slightly different at the time, I couldn't stop thinking about it and decided to just get it done - and now it's an epic fantasy trilogy in the making!

I won't be stopping after the third Tales of Splendania is completed though, I have many more ideas for books that I'm keen to get finished over the years.
