Shayne Collier writes contemporary fiction with a dash of romance (aka romantic elements). Her new novel Return to Desiree Bay is set in a fictional coastal town that could be one of many dotted along the east coast of NSW, Australia. It explores the thorny concepts: trust truth and betrayal and highlights the importance of belonging and the innate human desire to be loved. When she's not writing, reading or grappling with tech issues, Shayne heads to the ocean where she often has encounters with awe-inspiring marine life. She is an avid supporter of environmental organisations that include The Invasive Species Council, Australian Conservation Foundation, Australian Marine Conservation Society, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, Lock the Gate Alliance, Bush Heritage Australia, HalfCut and SeaLegacy. Shayne lives in Sydney with her partner and Stella the Kelpie.
