Douglas Graham Wilson

Douglas Graham Wilson is a spoken word poet currently based in London, United Kingdom.

Originally from Cape Town, Douglas has produced numerous solo performance poetry shows, as well as collaborating with other artists.

His debut show, Indirect Confessions, earned him critic’s choice Top 10 Shows of the Year in The Cape Argus newspaper’s arts supplement, Tonight.

Douglas also received sponsorship to perform at The Grahamstown Festival, South Africa’s most prestigious performing arts event, where he was met with critical acclaim.

A regular at Celine’s Salon, a popular and eclectic creative collective in Soho, London, he caught the eye of Wordville publisher Lucy Tertia George, resulting in the publication of his first collection, Of Love and Other Maladies.
