Miss Helen Aitchison

Helen Aitchison is an author from North East England. Her debut novel, The Dinner Club was released in 2022. She writes uplifting fiction, psychological thrillers and crime/police procedural books. Her writing is inspired by life events and twenty years working in the health and social care field. She is the director of a community interest company, Write on the Tyne, which aims to make creative writing inclusive and therapeutic. Through the non-profit, she publishes non-fiction books from marginalised voices.

Helen has been an on-line journalist for Radio Gateshead, a resident agony aunt in Pick Me Up! Magazine, and is on the board of trustees at Age UK. In her spare time, she enjoys travel, exercise, reading, and spending time with her family and rescue cat Eric.
