Kristy inspires and encourages others through her personal connections from being self-employed in sales and design for the last 37 years. The family dysfunction she grew up in led her to become a student of recovery for over three decades, seeking professional therapy, twelve-step recovery programs, workshops, and Christian-based recovery practices, and promises for healing.
Now living a healthy, Christ-centered, restored life, Kristy invests her time in helping others as she implements her recovery model into her everyday life. She finds many opportunities to share her story and faith and give back to the non-profit organizations that helped her in her recovery.
Kristy wrote and spoke and competed as a student and young adult over forty years ago. She was always writing and speaking about her own personal topics of pain and healing. Being inspired by many of her teachers, coaches, therapists, and listeners, she now is writing and speaking again and telling her story in her first book: The Swords of Words.
