Stahis S. Panagides has served as the Resident Country Director of the Millennium Challenge Corporation in Cape Verde (2005-2011), a U.S. Federal development agency (www.mcc.gov ), has extensive experience in international development and conflict resolution, having worked in senior staff positions with the World Bank, the Organization of American States, the Ford Foundation and the University of California (Berkeley). He represented the World Bank in Brazil. Mr. Panagides has worked or supervised work in more than fifty countries. Mr. Panagides is a founding member of Esquel Group Foundation, Inc, an institution dedicated to civil society participation and sustainable development with affiliates in Latin America. Co-founder of INOVA International Inc, an Information Technology company in Brazil. Mr. Panagides is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Greek, proficient in Spanish.
