Adam Erlichman is a Consultant and Author with Build Groups, LLC (www.buildgroups.net) in Dallas, TX. He serves on the Southern Baptist Texas Convention (SBTC) Discipleship Lead Team to help plan events, consult, and network. He has served in Executive, Discipleship, Groups, Young Adult, and Student ministry roles. Academically, Adam studied at Liberty University and other seminary institutions.
Adam received Christ at 19 years of age at Liberty University in his Evangelism 101 class taught by Dr. Dave Earley. Son to Ed and Katherine, he grew up in an incredible home where he learned values, disciplines, and skills that have made him who he is today. He is a big sports fan, played ice hockey for many years, and is an avid Philadelphia Flyers fan!
Throughout Adam's spiritual journey, he found it very confusing for a new Christian to understand what it meant practically to follow Jesus. From his experience, Adam has written books, resources, and curriculum that help others at every stage of their faith journey to further their discipleship journey. His heart is to resource the local church to equip pastors, small group leaders, Sunday School teachers, and everyday Christians to make disciples. Discipleship is his passion.
For fun, Adam loves competitive board games (Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, Monopoly, Tic Tac Toe [with his sons]), cornhole, golfing, splitting firewood [very theraputic]), writing, reading, hosting/hanging with their life group and friends, watching movies with Anna [wife], and coaching his three boys in baseball [Judah, Titus, & Deacon].
Ultimately, Adam wants to see his wife, boys, family, friends, and enemies come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior and become more like him every day to experience true satisfaction and fullness of joy for eternity.
