Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine becoming an author—but here I am, 20 books later. I give all glory to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave me purpose and the desire to pass on the truths He taught me to future generations. I also thank my wife of 46 years, Carlyn, my partner in life and ministry. She completes me and makes me better. I have a sign in my office that says, “Behind every successful man is a woman rolling her eyes.” She’s lived that out with grace!

I write practical, faith-based non-fiction books and bible studies that are focused on marriage, parenting, and discipleship. My goal is to help others grow spiritually and live transformed lives grounded in God’s Word.

A special shout out goes to our daughter, Blossom—an inspiring woman of faith and mom to our two beloved grandkids. Jasmine Joy, who just graduated from the University of Oregon and is embarking on her first teaching gig in the Fall, is a beautiful mix of brilliance, beauty, and fun. Brody Kane, our 17-year-old six-foot grandson, continues to wow us with his creativity, curiosity, and heart, and now with a driver’s license!

Yes, I'm a proud grandpa—and I pray these books will bless others, especially my g-kids and future great-grandkids. This is more than writing. This is legacy.
