Ariana R Fiorello-Omotosho

Ariana Fiorello-Omotosho was born in Killeen, Texas in 1994, adopted shortly after birth to Christine Fiorello of Medford, Massachusetts. An educator, Christine valued education both in school and beyond. Ariana traveled with her mother, and associates of her mother, both internationally and domestically, learning about the world she exists in.

She attended Spelman College where she completed a BA in English, with a minor in the African Diaspora. She intended to live and study abroad, but during her junior year she gave birth to her son and postponed her idea and instead pursued her interest in genealogy. She continued on to Simmons University where she completed an MS in Library and Information science, with a concentration in Archives Management, and an MA in History, with a concentration in African American history.

An avid traveler, continuing to travel even after the birth of her son, she found her passion resonated in writing and traveling. With few books that depicted multicultural characters who engaged in world exploration and travel, at the age of twenty-five Ariana decided it was time to get serious and do what she's always dreamed of doing which was writing books for all ages.

Globetrotting Kaiden Explores Bermuda was published in early 2022. She has continued to write juvenile picture books for the Globetrotting Kaiden Explores series and other titles that teach history and culture while inspiring adventure, global citizenship, and travel.
