I write children's books to help kids understand big feelings and handle them with confidence.
After spending much of my life navigating anxiety, I didn’t expect to turn those experiences into stories. That changed when I became a parent.
As my daughters began expressing their own worries, I wanted to give them simple, practical ways to make sense of what they were feeling.
One July evening, I wrote the Worry Thoughts poem. It helped my girls see that worry thoughts are just thoughts, not facts, and not something to be afraid of. It quickly became part of our bedtime routine and something we returned to whenever anxiety showed up.
Seeing how much it helped, I turned it into a storybook so other families could use it too.
That experience led to the creation of the Little C Books, a collection designed to help children understand feelings, build life skills, and grow with confidence.
These books are written for real-life moments, giving children clear language and practical skills they can use wherever and whenever feelings show up.
