Portia K. Phillips

Portia K. Phillips grew up in Texas, with no cable television. Despite having a plethora of playmates, as she was the top middle of 9 children she found time to immerse herself in books and journal writing. She later became a teacher, where she drove the kiddies crazy with her obsession with books and reading. In her spare time, she managed to create a whopping family of (5) including 3 daughters,1 husband, and 2 dogs. Her joy comes from the funny moments that are a daily occurrence in the Phillip's household. She enjoys reflecting on those moments and turning them into stories children can relate too.
