Marc Hughes is an author and cartoon illustrator who has written and designed children's books and activity books. He wrote the story about how a local lake monster became a baseball celebrity, helped with the creation of a jolly monk named Ned and illustrated a fun kid's book about a day in his life. He drew all the amazing scenes and adventures of a World Citizen in a documentary, plus just finished drawing and laying out a graphic novel about the importance of plankton on our planet.

"Initiation Dream" is Marc's first novel. It all came together after his own vivid dream, a family reunion and the insistent push of an artist friend telling him to just write ideas down for a book. He also wrote this fantasy adventure because of a long-time love of wolves and the American Indian culture.
