Brian Tierney

Brian Tierney is the author of Rise and Float (Milkweed 2022), winner of The Jake Adam York Prize. A former Wallace Stegner fellow in poetry, and winner of the 2018 George Bogin Memorial Award, his poems and prose have appeared in of are forthcoming in Paris Review, POETRY Kenyon Review, NER, AGNI, Best New Poets, and others. He currently lives in Oakland, Ca, where he teaches poetry at The Writing Salon
