Bobby R. Patton Ph.D.

Bobby R. Patton,PhD. is a retired university administrator and Communication Studies Professor who co-authored numerous college textbooks including the first undergraduate textbook on interpersonal Communication entitled Fundamentals of Interpersonal Communication, that stimulated the development of this field of communication studies across the world. Since his retirement as President of the University of Central Missouri he has been active on national boards and continues writing on communication topics.
