I grew up in Duncan and graduated from Cowichan High, class of 1969. I am married to Jim LaBossiere and we have two grown children and six grandchildren. We have lived in Cranbrook and Kitimat, before retiring to Terrace 15 years ago. "The Switch-hctiwS ehT" was my first book and was based on an idea that I had as a little girl. This book is dedicated to my father, George Kocurek, who passed away on 2009 at the grand age of 96.
As a young girl, Lucille LaBossiere visited the local library every day. Now she writes her own stories, with a focus on crime and thriller. She is the author of the Blue Ridge Trilogy, which includes "The Switch – hctiwS ehT", "Eight Hours", and "The Container". Besides writing and reading, Lucille enjoys traveling, camping, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren. She lives with her husband of fifty-three years in Duncan on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
