Robert Keprta

Robert Keprta is a native born Texan born on July 29,1943. After completing High School he joined the military service enlisting in the US Army for paratrooper duty. He served a total of five years, nine months, and thirteen days on active duty, His last duty assignment was with the 101st Airborne in Vietnam where he earned a Bronze Star Medal and the Combat Infantryman's Badge among other decorations. Prior to that he completed Pathfinder Training and the USMC Amphibious Recon training and was a cadre Platoon Sgt for the Advanced Combat Training Academy (Imjin Scouts) in Korea.

After military service he spent most of his professional career in the area of sales, as a salesman, sales trainer, and sales manager for various corporations. He earned a BA degree from Houston Baptist University and became a bi-vocational ordained minister. While serving in these roles he also earned an MA degree from the University of Houston Clear Lake and completed all but the dissertation for a PhD in Educational Psychology. He later became an LSSP (Licensed Specialist in School Psychology) and did educational evaluations of students for Learning Disabilities and Behavioral Disorders. He pastored two different churches for a total of over 21 years at the same time.

Those educational qualifications along with his varied professional experience prompted him to write "Superlative Selling" and "Basic Sound Doctrine." "Basic Sound Doctrine" was inspired by the fact that so many do not know or understand the basics of Bible teaching and doctrine, for which some people perish and lead unproductive lives as Christians.

He also wrote "Homeland" based on a written transcript left behind by his grandfather detailing events that happened to him on a return to visit his homeland. Further information concerning his grandfather's episode was gained via a supporting newspaper accounts from the New York Times.
