Jonathan Stanyer

I am a first time published author of a series of true ghost stories. Many of the stories I relate happened to me personally which isn't an easy thing to admit - there are a lot of sceptics out there! I never felt scared in any of these encounters - there is our world and there are others. Sometimes they interact. If I am successful I plan to publish a second volume. I am an English teacher by profession and have lived and worked in the UK as well as abroad including Turkey, Italy and the Middle East. I love reading and writing. Since writing my first volume of stories I have started to learn how to make sense of plot lines and characters inside my head - to which end I carry a notebook to write down any good idea, words or phrases that I could use. The skill then as a writer is to convince complete strangers in the main to be interested enough to buy and read what you have put to paper!
