NODE SMITH is a lover of life, of truth and of beauty. He is captivated by the creative mystery of life, and by the universal human need to learn, and grow. His one mission in life is to be a light of the world.

Node is a modern day renaissance man. He is a man who absorbs knowledge from any scenario. He has made a career out of simply being curious, interested and open. He practices as a naturopathic doctor, but has managed production for multiple companies, has founded companies and non-profit organizations and has traveled extensively. He also enjoys manual labor, and is always looking forward to the next opportunity to spend a weekend cutting wood, playing with motors, or renovating the house.

Node’s career as an author cannot be seen apart from his career as a counselor and guide for individuals struggling in their lives. He sees creative expression as paramount in overcoming many of the obstacles holding people back from living up to their absolute potential. He says that “creative expression allows us to manifest more easily the kindness and honesty that are mandatory for true healing to occur.” Node lives with his wife, Dr. Charity Thiessen, and their two cats, Myshkin and Jasper, in Saskatchewan, Canada.
