Stacy Day

Stacy Day was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She managed to work a full-time job throughout her time in college as she obtained an Associates of Arts degree with emphasis in Early Childhood Education from the Houston Community College System. She continued her education at the University of Houston Main Campus where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology.

She began writing unpublished short stories at the age of 16 years old and later became inspired to write her own novel after reading "The Coldest Winter Ever," by Sister Souljah. Later a friend handed her a book to read by author Terry McMillan titled, "A Day Late and a Dollar Short." From that moment she read several more books by many other authors, which sparked a flame in her soul that brought out her passion to begin a secondary career as an author.
