Didier BERTRAND

I’m Didier Bertrand, a French novelist.

I’ve self-published ten cozy mysteries and three thrillers, a travel memoir, an award-winning fantasy novel and award-recognized short stories. My stories mix suspense, with a hint of humor, and they’re led by strong, stubborn heroines who dare.

Long before my first novel, I also ran a blog on neuroscience and learning, which gave me a lasting fascination with what makes people (and characters) act the way they do.

Today, I’m also a self-publishing trainer. Through La Forge du Roman, L’institut des Carrières Littéraires (the Literary Career Institute) and the courses I teach at Sorbonne University, I help fellow authors sharpen their writing skills and bring their books to readers.
