Sharif Mohamed

As a digital transformation and corporate growth advocate, Sharif help individuals and companies flourish in the face of upheaval. As an entrepreneur and author, he has witnessed cataclysmic shifts in business, society, and the world. Sharif's work includes writing, speaking, consulting, developing, sitting on boards, and assisting businesses in their growth.

He was essential in initially cofounding student-led organisations, engaging students to participate in local community social development, and empowering social engagement. Back in 2010 and 2011, he and a group of students co-led the first Ubuntu local dialect translation project of Maldives Open Source Society in the Maldives among student groups, creating doors for students and himself in information technology. He has expertise in a range of fields and is a credible individual who encourages newcomers to enter the area of information technology and communications in general.

Having worked with the Maldives' government and leading organisations in the Maldives, he also collaborated with the Maldives' principal Open Source Organization, Maldives Open Source Society, to start the Maldives chapter of Code Club, together with a group of NGOs and the Ministry of Science and Technology, Maldives.
