My name is Lucy Pirogova. I’m a children's illustrator. I work in digital painting and mixed graphics, I like to create atmospheric worlds with subtle texture and mood.

Every day I devote myself to this fascinating activity, constantly looking for new approaches, following trends in the world of illustration, participating in contests and marathons.

Especially close to me are the themes of growing up, the inner world of a child, nature and care - for myself, others and all living things. I believe that illustration can be quiet but powerful.

Since childhood, drawing has been my way of understanding the world. Now I create illustrations for other authors' books and work on my own author projects. Illustration for me is a way to speak to a child as an equal, in a sensitive and real way.
