Roslyn Franken is a five‑time Gold Award-winning author, internationally acclaimed speaker, and proud cancer survivor who is dedicated to inspiring people with powerful true stories of resilience, hope, and personal transformation. She is best known for Meant to Be: A True Story of Might, Miracles, and the Triumph of the Human Spirit, the extraordinary biography of her parents, Sonja and John, whose lives as a Holocaust survivor and a survivor of the Nagasaki atomic bomb ultimately came together in a remarkable love story.

Roslyn shares their story with audiences across North America and overseas through dynamic multimedia presentations that bring history, humanity, and hope to life. Their story is also in development as a feature film.

In addition to her speaking work, Roslyn is the creator of From Surviving to Thriving, an online program that supports women cancer survivors in rebuilding their lives with clarity, resilience, and renewed purpose. She also coaches aspiring authors who are ready to transform their own life stories into meaningful books that make a difference.

Diagnosed with cancer at twenty‑nine, Roslyn drew strength from her parents’ example to become a long‑term survivor. At thirty‑nine, she reclaimed her health once again by overcoming lifelong struggles with weight, stress, and lifestyle challenges. Her first book, The A List: 9 Guiding Principles for Healthy Eating and Positive Living, shares the practical wisdom that has helped thousands live healthier, happier, and more resilient lives.

Roslyn holds a Master’s degree in Human Systems Intervention from Concordia University in Montreal, a Certification in Organizational Psychology with a focus on Executive Coaching from the Professional School of Psychology in California, and MBTI Personality Type Assessment Qualification from Psychometrics Canada.
