Gunner Bush

Gunner A. Bush was born in his father’s truck as his mother’s water broke two months early. Gunner was born prematurely, ahead of his time. Gunner grew up in the Highlands area of Louisville, Kentucky.

Gunner’s lifelong dream was to be a writer. While his classmates idolized athletes, Gunner’s heroes were writers like Hunter S. Thompson, Kurt Vonnegut Jr., and Gary Webb.

Gunner went to community college in Louisville and later transferred to Indiana University, where he worked towards his B.A. in journalism.

Gunner covered the 2016 Presidential election for Rolling Stone and his memoirs, Suicide to Notes to Kurt Cobain. The three-part book is now available and released posthumously.

Gunner worked in the White House covering the transfer of power in January 2021, and he wrote daily online for a covert blog that went viral as people wanted to hear his daily takes on what was happening.

Sadly, Gunner passed away in November 2021.

Gunner’s novella, Albert Gum and the Coup D'etat to Save Humanity will be released on Yellow Door Publishing.
