Jeffrey Johnson

Jeffrey Johnson has been drawing, writing, and creating the majority of his life. He has worked as an art director for many years with various world wide organizations. Mixing the traditional tools of an artist with technology is a great combination for him. All of the drawings are done using pencil and ink on bristol paper. Once the traditional drawings are inked, then he transfers the drawings to the computer for fine tuning adding colors, text and book layout. Coming from a creative and educated family - his mother being a school teacher and his father being an artist - writing and drawing a children's book comes quite naturally.

His series of Cliff and Floyd books have been well received with kids and parents alike. All books within the series are interactive in the way that they are comprehensive stories asking questions to the reader near the end of the book pertaining to the adventure. The reader will hopefully be able to help Cliff and Floyd get out of whatever predicament they find themselves in. The books even have a place for the reader to write in their answers. As well as the questions, each book has a maze as well as other puzzles, whether it being 'what's the difference' or a hidden picture part, or possibly some other interactive puzzle that keeps the reader engaged. The Cliff and Floyd books are not just stories, they're interactive adventures that a child can read over and over again!
