Chris Gebert

Chris creates illustrated children’s books that communicate the truth of Jesus’s unconditional love for families. Her YOU ARE MORE Christian children’s book series emphasizes that God gives us his identity and purpose as his dearly loved children. Chris lives in Georgetown, TX with her husband Allan and whatever birds they can attract to their backyard feeders.

Her parents were Lutheran elementary school teachers who had a passion for children to know their Savior, Jesus. She attends Holy Word Lutheran Church in Austin Tx where she has studied the Bible for years. Her greatest joy is teaching Bible study to kids, teens, on mission trips and to women locally and internationally.

“My greatest joy is to see how God gives us relief from our sins and eternal life through his Spirit and his Words in the Bible. I have seen God work through his word to give me, my husband and our three kids security and significance in his unconditional love. Now, it’s a blessing to see them teach God’s Word in their own homes along with their spouses to my four grandchildren. I have been blessed to study the Bible and teach children, teens, and women through my church, Holy Word Lutheran in Austin TX.”
