Mary Morris

Mary Morris is the author of three books of poetry: Enter Water, Swimmer, Dear October (winner of the 2021 New Mexico-Arizona Book Award), and Late Self-Portraits (winner of the 2022 Wheelbarrow Books Prize, MSU Press). Her poems appear in Poetry, Prairie Schooner, Boulevard, The Massachusetts Review, and numerous other literary journals. A recipient of the Rita Dove Award, New Mexico Discovery Award, Western Humanities Review Mountain West Prize, and the National Federation Press Women’s Book Prize, she has also been invited to read her work at the Library of Congress which aired on National Public Radio.
