Deona Brownrigg

Deona grew up in Jamaica where she did not have much luxury or wealth. She lost her mother at an early age. Few years later, Deona migrated to the United States after meeting her then-husband, and together they have two children. She endured repeated domestic abuse at the hands of her ex-husband. Soon after, Deona was physically abused by her ex-boyfriend and those two encounters motivated her to share her story.
