Nan Sloane

Nan Sloane is an author with an interest in the history of political women, particularly on the left. Before she began writing she spent many years working in politics, first in elected office and then as a Labour Party official. She also ran a small think tank working on women's representation in the public space both in the UK and abroad, and she is an experienced political leadership trainer. She lives in Leeds with her husband, Chris.
