Emma Holt

At the age of 14, in the midst of covid, and a freshman in high school, Emma Holt was forced to stay at home. With much time on her hands, Emma realized she had a love for reading. However, she found herself wanting the books to continue, or for them to have different endings. She had many ideas floating in her head, and she wanted them to be written. So, with much time on her hands, she began writing her own stories.

Starting it in late February, Emma was able to publish and write the book in 6 months. "The Love That Binds," became Emma's first book. Later, at the age of 16/17, Emma continued her work and wrote the second book in the series, "The Lie that Binds." She plans on continuing and growing in her work as she ages and hopes to complete The Binded Series within the next year.
