Growing up, my Grandmother told us (the grandchildren) many stories that she used to make up on the spot. I must have subconsciously taken in the ideas and patterns of the stories as 20 years later, I find myself telling pre-school children stories of my own that I too had made up on the spot. This love of story telling continued well into my teaching career until I stumbled across a way of self publishing on Amazon.

The book I chose to publish was my Grandmother's most famous story which my brothers and my cousins had all enjoyed growing up. I gave her her own story as a present at Christmas 2021.
