Assia Lau’ren is a U.S. Army veteran turned independent artist, blending storytelling, photography, and performance to explore themes of identity, healing, and emotional truth. A Howard University graduate and former Army Captain, she channels her lived experience into powerful creative work across multiple mediums.
She is the author of two compelling collections of poetry that encourage reflection, self-reclamation, and emotional honesty.
