Monique Hope-Ross

Dr Monique Hope-Ross, FRCP, FRCS, FRCOphth, MRCPI, DO is an eye surgeon and author. She was one of the first to set up diabetic eye screening programs, for over 1 million people. Seeing the terrible toll that such diseases took on her patients, she resolved to become a prevention doctor. And The Diet Whisperer was born. She now helps people to avoid disease through nutritional intervention and lifestyle changes.

She was an honorary senior clinical lecturer at the University of Birmingham, and has published over 35 scientific original scientific publications, written book chapters, and delivered hundreds of lectures, chairing and organising many international scientific meetings. She was President of the Midland Ophthalmological Society and the Ophthalmic Imaging Association (UK).

With her husband, Dr Paul Barrington Chell, they co-author books to help people avoid modern conditions including high blood pressure, obesity, diabetes and heart disease, which can be prevented or treated with lifestyle changes. The Diet Whisperer: The 12-Week Reset Plan is their latest book.

Paul and Monique live between the UK and the French Alps. They are both nature lovers, keen skiers and triathletes.
