Fernando Figueroa Saavedra

FERNANDO FIGUEROA SAAVEDRA,

PhD in History of Art, graphic and plastic artist, actor, clown and writer.

He's a native of Entrevías and he resides in the neighborhood Vallecas in Madrid. From there he develops a literary and investigative facet.

In the literary sphere, he likes to navigate between the historical, the uchronic, the fantastic and the erotic genres, always establishing a subtle dialogue with the classics, mythology and contemporary reality through the mortar of humor and interrelation of cultural records. His literary works go through the history, the novel or the essay-fiction. Characters such as the Venetian adventurer Angelina Trisole, the balloon-women and Harry Maesnow stand out in her imagination.

In science, he opts for the genre of essays about graffiti and urban art.
