About Prof. Torsten Liem, M. Sc. Ost., M. Sc. Paed. Ost., B. Sc. Ost., D. O., DPO

Torsten Liem is CEO of Osteopathie Schule Deutschland GmbH (OSD), Dean of Osteopathy Programs at DIPLOMA University of Applied Sciences, and runs his own osteopathic practice in Hamburg. He is also the founder of Psychosomatic Osteopathy and the Liem Institute.

He is the author of Cranial Osteopathy: Principles and Practice and The Osteopathy Self-Help Book, and editor of Morphodynamics in Osteopathy, Psychosomatic Osteopathy, Leitfaden Osteopathie, Leitfaden Viszerale Osteopathie, and Fascia in the Osteopathic Field, among many other publications. He has also authored more than 100 articles.

Prof. Liem is co-founder of the journal Osteopathische Medizin (Elsevier) and a member of the Advisory Board of the International Journal of Osteopathic Medicine. He serves on the boards of the European and German Societies for Pediatric Osteopathy, the Osteopathic Research Institute gGmbH, and the Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft Osteopathie, and is a member of the American Academy of Osteopathy.
