Peter Biro

Peter Biro (* 1956) is a doctor, cultural connoisseur and widely traveled citizen of the world. He spent his childhood and first school years in Oradea (Romania), emigrated to Germany in 1970, studied medicine in Cluj-Napoca, Romania and Frankfurt am Main, Germany (1976–1983). After his postgraduate education in anesthesiology in Frankfurt, he emigrated again in 1987, this time to Switzerland. While working as an anesthetist and professor at the University Hospital Zurich, he publishes short stories, satires and parodies in print and in online magazines in four languages and in various styles. He lives half-half in Switzerland and Spain and he abuses his almost unlimited free time to write light-hearted fiction.
