William Carruthers

William Carruthers is Lecturer in Heritage and Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Essex. He holds an AHRC-funded PhD in the History and Philosophy of Science from the University of Cambridge, and is a recovering archaeologist. He has held postdoctoral fellowships from the Leverhulme Trust, the Gerda Henkel and Max Weber Stiftungs, and the European Commission, and lives in London.
