Ava Renee Dussault

Ava Dussault is a college student, pursuing degrees in Elementary/ Special Education and Psychology. Ava wrote this book because she IS Renee; a girl who is constantly doing five things at once and needs to take a break. She became Children’s Yoga and Mindfulness Certified in 2019 with Flow and Grow Kids Yoga and Mindful Schools. Ava and her mother, Lisa Casillo co-founded a kids yoga and mindfulness company, 2MindfulGirls, this past year. They have online resources and activities for parents, yoga teachers, and educators, along with a small children’s yoga studio in Worcester, MA. Ava also enjoys teaching fitness classes at the Providence College gym. She hopes that this book will inspire children to take pauses throughout their busy day and form a toolkit with mindfulness tips and tricks to help them calm down when they are frustrated, anxious, or upset.
