I was born in Newcastle upon Tyne. I qualified as a teacher, and taught around the UK. Later in life, I created a Conference Agency business in Surrey, which I ran for several years.
I have spent the last thirteen years as a National Trust Volunteer at Polesden Lacey, working as a Room Guide, a Tour Guide and a Research Historian.
I have researched extensively in Archives, and created new Archival information. Removing misinformation is always an important aim for me. I am dedicated to providing the truth.
My interest in History, is in Great Britain from 1850 to 1960, wherever as a country, we interacted in the world.
