In 2020, he turned being furloughed during the Covid 19 pandemic into a creative breakthrough, publishing his first independent novel: Extinction Battle for Survival.

Since then, Daniel has expanded his library with a high-tension series and gripping standalone fiction. He specialises in stories that capture the intensity of the masters who inspired him, delivered with a fresh, contemporary edge.

In 2026 he is trying something new with a sports based book, Hometown Hero, that takes a look into the pressures of expectation and ambition.
