All alone in San Francisco with that beast, she plotted and schemed in order to survive, without ever fighting back. Kathy Piperno was forced to re-live the aftermath of domestic violence while describing the real and raw details of three cruel attacks.

Aware that she deserved more, she knocked down the roadblocks to success, and transitioned from legal secretary to partner at a prestigious law firm.

Voted Super Lawyer and Top Attorney by her peers, she leads her clients through heartbreak, trauma and strife in custody, child support and divorce matters.

Her approach is unique to every case as she argues the applicable law in the courtroom.

Now a renowned domestic violence advocate, she speaks for victims and survivors who cannot speak for themselves.

"Fearless in Heels", Kathy's first novel, offers encouragement to those paralyzed with fear and those trapped in the cycle of violence. “Fearless” was a Finalist, among thousands, in the 2023 Book Excellence Awards Competition in the category of Female Empowerment.

Kathy is available for speaking engagements and teaches how to end the cycle through her unique presentation, through her courtroom expertise and through her personal story.
