It has always been my dream to be an author. I have a 8 year old granddaughter named Pepper Jean. Listening to her share her adventures and experiences in elementary school encouraged me to follow my dream and write children’s books. School is a place to learn, have fun and make life long friends. It can also send a child through a wide range of emotions from scary and confusing to excitement and pride. My goal is to share Pepper’s experiences in school in order to provide children with a relatable character that provides lighthearted learning about school’s most toughest challenges and rewarding experiences. A character that inspires children and encourages them along the way through their own school experiences and emotions. My books will teach children about making friends, sharing, learning, diversity, bullying prevention and many more life lessons.
